- Click a step in the transcript (a command, a file read) to see what it printed, as in Claude Code. A finished reply keeps its steps folded under it
- Search in History: it looks through every conversation in the logs, not only the recent ones, and Open works on what it finds
- Widget cards stay where you dragged them after a reload
- Two computers: sync
KryonDatawith Syncthing (README, Two computers). A.stignorekeeps each computer's own state out,KRYON_MACHINEgives a computer its own logs, andKRYON_ROUTINES=0leaves routines and notifications to the other one - New projects name their folders
<project>-vault,<project>-repoand<project>-assets, so an IDE tells them apart. Plainvault, repoandassetskeep working - The sentence Kryon is reading aloud turns bold in the tool's colour in the transcript and is kept in view
- History's Open puts a finished conversation back in the assistant, to read the whole answer or carry on
- Kryon installs cleanly as an app: PNG and maskable icons for Android, an iPhone home screen icon, and a fixed app id
- A skill can pick its own tool with
mode:in its frontmatter, whatever the slider says. When the tool lacks the skill'smodel:, Jev picks one of that tool's models instead. The starter skills tuned for Claude now run in Claude Code, and onboard and review know aboutmode:
Changed
- The interface sounds match the deeper voice: an octave lower, war horns with a brassy filter, detuned saws and a sub-bass impact under the big ones (start, done, failed, view, tool switch)
- The steps speak in Kryon's voice: "Executing", "Reviewing", "Dispatching a frame:".
persona.mdsets these words in its frontmatter, so a plain persona gets plain steps - A long conversation keeps its thread: past its last 10 turns, the 30 before them are kept short instead of dropped, for Jev and for a new tool session
- Kryon moved from port 3000 (often taken by web dev) to 5796, and its address is http://kryon.localhost:5796. Run
npm run autostartagain, and reinstall the app if you installed it: the old address is a different app to the browser
Fixed
- A file card opens when the tool wrote KryonData's real path, as it does when KryonData is reached through a link (
~/Documentspointing at another drive) - Claude jobs can reach the network from their commands again (git push and pull, npm, curl): its sandbox refused every host, since it can't ask for approval in a background job. Mail and webhook jobs still get no network
- Claude jobs stage git files by name instead of
git add -A, so the empty files Claude's Linux sandbox briefly puts in the working folder never end up in a commit - The line under the core stays on one line, cut with an ellipsis (hover for all of it), instead of wrapping a long command into two ragged lines
- A step shows what a command is for ("Read the sprint board") when the tool says so, instead of the raw shell line
- Sandboxed tools can write KryonData when it's reached through a link, instead of finding it read-only
- A step that runs a command shows the command itself, not the
cd /long/path;in front of it - The Codex usage card names a monthly window (the Go plan) Month instead of Week
- A Claude Code or Codex login that was revoked or expired shows the tool as not ready, and asking it says to log in again, instead of every job failing
- Needs you lines added while Kryon was off (by the other computer, or by hand) now reach the phone when it starts
- A routine that runs every so often (the heartbeat) waits twice as long after each failure in a row, up to a day, instead of failing and spending credits at every interval
- A typo in
routines.jsonno longer turns every routine off without a word: Needs you says what's wrong - The orb no longer stays on "thinking" after a job whose last message was already read out
- The app icon is drawn bolder, so it reads in a browser tab and a taskbar
